Although it's in a relatively quiet and unknown area of Belgium, Maldegem is home to a popular heritage railway, known as Stoomcentrum Maldegem, or Maldegem Steam Centre.

Today's testing and measurement website hotspot is Jakarta. The capital of Indonesia has a population of more than ten million people, making it the largest city in southeast Asia. A coastal city, that includes over a thousand islands in its administration area, Jakarta sits on the north coast of the main island of Java, overlooking the Java sea.

Forty percent of the city is actually below sea level, and the city is sinking quite quickly - at 5-10 cm per year, and up to 20 cm per year in some northern parts.

The city has a hot and humid climate, with average maximum temperatures above 30 deg C every month of the year, and annual rainfall over 1.7 metres (67 inches).

Testing and Measurement in West Malling, Kent

Today's testing and measurement website hotspot is West Malling, in Kent, the home of an RAF air base that also served for a time as Maidstone Airport. After serving as a 'landing ground' in World War One, the airfield became RAF West Malling in 1940 and featured heavily in the Battle of Britain.

After the RAF left in 1969, the airfield continued in private hands for some years but is now being developed into a residential and commercial village, although remnants of its aviation history are still apparent.

Today's Novanna testing website hotspot is Wolverhampton. Given city status in 2000, Wolverhampton is in the West Midlands and has a population of around 250,000. The city name is thought to come from the Anglo-Saxon Wulfrūnehēantūn, meaning Wulfrun's high enclosure or farm. Lady Wulfrun founded the town in 985, although local tradition also states that King Wulfhere of Mercia founded an abbey of St Mary at Wolverhampton in 659.

Originally a wool and market town, Wolverhampton grew into a major industrial city as a result of the industrial revolution. Engineering is still a major part of the city economy.

Today's testing and measurement website hotspot is... Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne is the second most populous city in Australia and the biggest in Victoria, of which it is the capital. Sitting at the estuary of the River Yarra, Melbourne overlooks Port Phillip Bay, which opens into the Tasman Sea. 

The city was founded in 1835 and named in 1837 after the British Prime Minister at the time, Viscount Melbourne. It became one of the world's biggest and most prosperous cities during the Victorian gold rush of the 1850s and served as the new nation's capital from 1901 to 1927.

Today's testing and measurement website hotspot is McCallen, Texas. Situated at the southern tip of Texas, in the Rio Grande valley, McCallen is only the twentieth most populous city in Texas, but is the largest in Hidalgo County, with a population of over 130,000. 

Thanks to its position on the Rio Grande (the border with Mexico), McCallen attracts a lot of tourists, giving it the highest per capita retail spending in Texas.

While it isn't the capital of Morocco (that's Rabat), Casablanca is the capital of Grand Casablanca region, as well as being the country's leading commercial and business centre. The population of the city is about 3.5 million, while Grand Casablanca has a population around 6 million.
